SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICY



SHIPPING

Each order placed with us is carefully finished and packaged in our workshop. We make sure that every shipment is checked thoroughly before leaving our premises and is shipped within 10 to 15 working days. As soon as your order has been dispatched you will receive an email from our end with a tracking number, which you can use to track your order on our shipping partner’s site. In case of any unforeseen delay in processing your order, we will notify you without fail.


Shipping within India                                                                                                                                           

Shipping to anywhere in India is absolutely free. Orders placed from metro cities are usually delivered the next day from the day of dispatch, but due to the disruption of couriers due to the COVID-19 crisis, we will be taking a grace period of 8 working days. For smaller cities and remote addresses, we keep a grace period of up to 12 working days. Please note that we will be unable to match up with the shipping schedules for orders with incomplete addresses or wrong contact information.


Cash on delivery

Available only in select pincodes in India. Additional processing charges are levied on each order in case of COD orders i.e on each order an amount of INR 500 is to be paid to the delivery partner.

Please note : The delivery charges need to be paid despite the individual not willing to receive the shipment by the delivery partner. An additional charge of re-sending the parcel to the warehouse will be collected by the delivery partner from the consignee.


International Shipping

On orders outside India, shipping is done on a DDU ( Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means product price mentioned are exclusive of customs duty applicable. As a recipient, you are liable to pay all import duties, custom duty, local taxes levied by the country in which you’re residing or you are importing the products to. Payment of these taxes/duties at the time of delivery is necessary to get the delivery of the product from logistics/courier agencies.

We ship all across the globe, with a flat rate calculated weight for all different zones. You may find our shipping rates a little higher than the industry standards, the reason being that we use several efficient and transparent third-party courier partners to make ensure that all international orders are delivered within a maximum of 16 working days, but due to the current COVID-19 crisis we would be take a grace period of 20 days. Please see the flat shipping charges mentioned below.

RETURNS AND REFUND


We invest a great deal of love and care in making each product. And as a policy, we don’t offer returns on products that are delivered in perfect condition as per the order placed. We only provide exchanges and store credit valid for 10 days. However please note due to the ongoing crisis of COVID-19, for the health and well-being of our clientele and our team we would not be accepting any returns or exchanges for the time being.

In case, the order is wrongly delivered or has been damaged in transit you can connect to us on studio.ekadi@gmail.com  within 2 days of receiving the shipment. We offer a return and full refund or replacement of the order within seven days of receipt. 


Please note items bought in the Sale Section are not eligible for exchanges. If a piece is exchanged once, it cannot be exchanged the second time.

In the case of exchanges, each request is handled on a case-by-case basis and we request you to get in touch with our team for prompt resolution, please note, that we will not be able to reimburse shipping costs including those to return the product to Ekadi for exchange. We recommend that you obtain proof of the postage on returning the item to us, as we won’t be able to accept responsibility for items lost in the post, you can also share the tracking number of the shipment being sent to us over email.


In case of exchanges please make sure your items are returned new, unused, and with all Ekadi garment tags and packaging still attached. Please note that we would not accept returns and exchange on an order for any customised order, unless the product is faulty or not as described. Ekadi reserves the right to not accept exchanges that are damaged by the customer and ones that do not meet our policy and quality standards. These will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer. The shipping charges for exchanges and alterations are to be borne by the client.

 

No refunds would be given if the customer has provided a wrong or incomplete shipping address, there are 2 failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency and/or the package is refused by the recipient.

In case of returns, we will credit the amount you paid for the products into your EKADI account as store credits. No Cash refund will be processed.

 

Please note: Given the nature of our products, we reserve the sole discretion to provide the resolution to any situation as we deem fit. Each return or exchange request is handled on a case-by-case basis and we request you to get in touch with our team for prompt resolution.

 

In case of exchanges and replacement of the product, the process can take around 7-10 days, from the date of the receiving the product at our office.

When applicable, the refund will be credited to the original payment method. Please note that the refunds can take up to 10 working days to show on your account due to varying processing times between payment providers.



CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS

 

You can cancel an order within 24 hrs of placing an order. Any amount you paid will be credited back into your account or will be available in the form of store credit.
